Meteor Shower Cyphastrea
Deep navy-blue to purple, this Cyphastrea carries a richly saturated encrusted base dotted all over with small nodular polyps that glow orange-gold under lighting — scattered like a field of sparks against the dark base. Cyphastrea is a fast-growing SPS coral and, unusually for the category, considered easy to keep, making it a solid entry point if you’re moving into SPS for the first time.
