Terminator Chalice (Frag)

Toxic Lime brings a punchy, acid-green colour to the swirling, richly-textured look chalice corals are known for. It’s a strong pick if you want a genuinely vivid green in the mix without going for something more muted or pastel — the colour holds up well and gives real contrast against warmer-toned neighbours.

Chalice corals grow slowly but steadily once settled, encrusting outward over time, and like other chalices this one extends short sweeper tentacles at night to catch food — worth giving it a little breathing room from its neighbours.

Care basics

  • Lighting: Low to moderate. Chalices can bleach under overly intense light, so this one does best lower in the tank.
  • Flow: Low to moderate, indirect. Strong direct flow can damage the tissue.
  • Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
  • Feeding: Not required, but it will take fine coral foods and micro-plankton if offered.
  • Placement: Give it space from neighbouring corals due to its sweeper tentacles.

Supplied as a 3cm coral on a frag plug approx 2.5cm.
