Rose Gold Branching Frogspawn pairs deep, rich burgundy-purple stalks with softer, dusty-pink polyp tips, giving the whole piece a warm, elegant tone that’s a bit different from the brighter greens and yellows more commonly seen on frogspawn. Under flow, the tentacles wave and pulse gently — one of the most mesmerising things to watch in a reef tank, and this piece’s softer palette makes it a nice change of pace against punchier neighbours.

Frogspawn is a genuinely good beginner LPS — hardy, forgiving, and a fast grower given reasonable conditions, so it’s a solid choice if this is your first branching LPS coral.

Care basics

• Lighting: Moderate. Best placed mid-level in the tank rather than right under the light.
• Flow: Moderate, indirect. Avoid blasting it with direct heavy flow, which can damage the coral.
• Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
• Feeding: Not required, but it will take larger meaty foods or powdered foods like Reef-Roids if offered.
• Placement: Frogspawn carries a moderate sting — give it space from less aggressive neighbours.
