CB Midnight Fascination Favia
Midnight Fascination pairs a bright, almost luminous green textured body with deep purple-maroon mouth pits scattered across the surface, giving the whole piece a striking, star-scattered look that earns its name. Favia corals are known for their huge range of colour combinations, and this one leans into genuine contrast rather than a single flat tone.
Favia corals come in a huge variety of colours and are generally very easy to keep, making this a strong pick if you want serious visual impact without a demanding coral.
Care basics
- Lighting: Low to moderate. Tolerates a wide range, and does well lower in the tank.
- Flow: Low to moderate. Gentle flow is best.
- Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
- Feeding: Not required, but it will take finer coral foods if offered.
- Placement: Favia extend sweeper tentacles at night, so give it space from neighbouring corals.
Supplied as a 2.5cm frag on a plug.
