Ultra Hellfire Torch Coral

This Ultra Hellfire is the super bright colour variant of the Hellfire torch, and it shows — golden-olive stems run long and flowing, each capped with a vivid, almost glowing cyan-blue tip that really pops under tank lighting. It’s a coral built to be a centrepiece, and the long stem length means it moves beautifully in flow.

Torches are widely regarded as one of the most stunning LPS species for general display, and a bright, well-marked piece like this one is exactly the kind reef keepers build a tank around.

Care basics

• Lighting: Mid to high, though tolerates a wide range.
• Flow: Moderate and random. Avoid blasting it with direct heavy flow — this can damage the coral.
• Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
• Feeding: Not required, but it will take larger meaty foods or powdered foods like Reef-Roids if offered.
• Placement: Torches carry a strong sting and, with stems this long, can reach further than expected once fully extended — give it real space from neighbouring corals.
