Glitter Mycedium Robokaki Chalice Frag
Glitter Mycedium Robokaki doesn’t oversell itself — the body is a deep purple-teal covered in a fine dusting of iridescent speckles that catch the light almost like glitter, especially under actinic. Two warm orange-red growth centres break through the darker base colour, giving the piece real depth and a natural focal point for the eye.
Mycedium chalices like this one tend to grow in a more plating, encrusting form rather than the mounded shape of some other chalice types, so expect it to spread outward as a flatter colony over time.
Care basics
- Lighting: Low to moderate. Chalices can bleach under overly intense light, so this one does best lower in the tank.
- Flow: Low to moderate, indirect. Strong direct flow can damage the tissue.
- Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
- Feeding: Not required, but it will take fine coral foods if offered.
- Placement: Give it space from neighbouring corals, as with other chalices.
Supplied as a frag on a 3cm frag plug.
