Bright Blue and Green Favia
Sharp, high-contrast, and genuinely eye-catching under lighting — deep maroon-burgundy across the ridged body, with two teal-green polyp mouths and a bright turquoise fringe. Favia corals come in a huge variety of colours and are generally very easy to keep, making this a strong pick if you want serious visual impact without a demanding coral.
Care basics
- Lighting: Low to moderate. Tolerates a wide range, and does well lower in the tank.
- Flow: Low to moderate.
- Placement: Favia carry sweeper tentacles that extend at night — leave a little clearance from neighbouring corals.
- Feeding: Not required to maintain health, though it won’t turn down the odd feed.
