Large Colony of Mixed Zoas WYSIWYG
This is a proper mixed zoa garden rather than a single morph — a dense colony combining vivid blue-ringed polyps with warm gold centres alongside deeper burgundy-red heads, all packed tightly together into one striking mat. It’s fully cultured and grown in-house, which means this colony has been established and thriving under Coral Barn’s own care rather than freshly imported, giving it a real head start for whoever takes it home.
This is a WYSIWYG listing: you receive the exact colony pictured, approx 5+cm open, not a representative example.
Care basics
- Lighting: Low to moderate. Tolerates a wide range of lighting.
- Flow: Moderate to high. Keeps detritus off the polyps and supports healthy spread across a colony this size.
- Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
- Feeding: Not required, but occasional fine-particle feeding can help growth and colour.
- Handling: Contains palytoxin, as all zoanthids do. Never handle out of water, and wear gloves when fragging.
Supplied as pictured — a large established colony, approx 5+cm open.
