Large Fused Head Cristata Torch WYSIWYG
This fused-head Cristata torch is a proper display piece — a dense cluster of thick stems fanning outward from a single fused base, each one topped with a rounded green tip over a warm golden-tan stalk. Torches like this take years to build up this kind of head count, which is part of what makes a piece at this size worth seeking out rather than growing from scratch.
This is a WYSIWYG listing: the coral you receive is the exact one pictured, not a representative example, so what you see is genuinely what lands in your tank.
Care basics
- Lighting: Mid to high, though torches tolerate a wide range. Give it time to acclimate if moving from lower light.
- Flow: Moderate and indirect. Avoid blasting it directly — heavy flow can damage the stems.
- Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
- Feeding: Not required, but it will take larger meaty foods or powdered foods like Reef-Roids if offered.
- Placement: Give it real space. Torches carry a strong sting and can reach further than expected once fully extended, so keep other corals well clear.
Approx 4cm+ open. Supplied as pictured — large fused head.
