Multicolour Ricordea Yuma Mushroom
This Ricordea Yuma shows a lovely gradient effect — fine, cyan-green nodular tentacles fading outward into golden-yellow, with a distinctive bright green ring marking the centre where the mouth sits. That kind of smooth colour transition across a single polyp is part of what makes well-marked Yuma pieces so sought after among collectors.

Care basics
- Lighting: Low to moderate. Ricordea can bleach out or lose vibrancy under overly intense light, so lower placement usually works best.
- Flow: Low to moderate. Gentle flow is best — heavy flow can cause the polyp to close up or detach.
- Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
- Feeding: Not required, but target feeding small meaty foods can noticeably boost size and colour over time.
- Placement: Peaceful and doesn’t need much space from neighbours, though it can slowly creep across rockwork over time.
