Multicolour Ricordea Yuma Mushroom

This piece carries a genuine mix of colour across its polyps — mustard-gold, teal-green and deep maroon sitting together in a tight cluster on a small rock, rather than the single-polyp form more common in this range.

Care basics

  • Care level: Easy.
  • Lighting: Low to moderate.
  • Flow: Low to moderate — avoid strong direct/laminar flow, which can cause the polyp to detach from the rock. If this happens, place it in a small cup of rubble in the tank so it can reattach without getting lost.
  • Placement: Best kept away from direct flow paths (powerhead outputs, etc).
