A very rare and highly sought after coral. Also referred to as a meat coral or doughnut coral. We acquired this rare coral from a UK collector who has had the coral for many years. A true centerpiece for any reef tank. Acanthophyllia are an easy to keep hardy coral.

This coral needs moderate lighting and moderate flow, it will also require the correct levels of Calcium, Alkalinity, and Magnesium etc to thrive within your system

Ideally place the Acanthophyllia in the sand and ensure detritus does not collect on the animal.

Additional feeding once a week will help your corsl but it isn’t required to maintain its health however it will feed on larger meaty foods if offered
