Playboy Bunny Zoa
Playboy Bunny pairs a soft, lavender-purple body with a bright turquoise centre, finished with a crisp white ring around the mouth. It’s a cooler, more understated colour combination than some of the brighter, high-contrast zoas, making it a nice one for balancing out a garden that’s otherwise heavy on orange and red tones.
Like most zoas, it’s a steady grower once settled, budding outward to build a mat over time.
Care basics
- Lighting: Low to moderate. Tolerates a wide range of lighting.
- Flow: Moderate to high. Keeps detritus off the polyps and supports healthy spread.
- Water chemistry: Stable calcium, alkalinity and magnesium matter more than chasing exact numbers.
- Feeding: Not required, but occasional fine-particle feeding can help growth and colour.
- Handling: Contains palytoxin, as all zoanthids do. Never handle out of water, and wear gloves when fragging.
Supplied as 5+ zoas on a plug.
