A vivid Red/orange body with green flashes. a true-aquacultured Australian piece with real depth of colour. Scolymia are a genuinely good beginner LPS: hardy, low-maintenance, and forgiving of small mistakes.
Care basics
- Care level: Easy — a great beginner LPS.
- Lighting: Mid-range, but tolerant of a wide range.
- Flow: Moderate, random.
- Water temperature: Does best slightly cooler than average reef temps, around 75–77°F.
- Placement: Free-living — place directly on sand rather than mounting on rock, and keep clear of detritus build-up.
- Feeding: Not essential, but will take meaty foods.
