Tyree Orange Zoa
One of the more recognisable named lineages in the hobby — deep purple-maroon polyps ringed in metallic orange-gold banding, each centred with a bright green-turquoise eye. Easy to keep and quick to spread into a full colony given the chance.
Care basics
- Care level: Easy.
- Lighting: Low to moderate.
- Flow: Moderate to high.
- Handling: Zoanthids produce palytoxin, a serious toxin — always wear gloves when handling and never touch your face or eyes during or after handling.
- Feeding: Not required, but will take fine foods.
Available as single polyps or small groups.
