A deep red-maroon Favia marked with bold, elongated streaks of neon-green running across the ridged body — sharp, high-contrast colouring that’s genuinely eye-catching under lighting. Favia corals come in a huge variety of colours and are generally very easy to keep, making this a strong pick if you want serious visual impact without a demanding coral.

• Lighting: Low to moderate. Tolerates a wide range, and does well lower in the tank.
• Flow: Low to moderate.
• Placement: Favia carry sweeper tentacles that extend at night — leave a little clearance from neighbouring corals.
• Feeding: Not required to maintain health, though it won’t turn down the odd feed.
